BIO

      I am a natural born lefty who has played right handed guitar for many
years. I taught myself how to play a left handed guitar for an accompaniment
to the right hand guitar. Consequently, I can play rhythm on one and lead on
the other. This really comes in handy when playing solo. There's a unique
syncopation between lead and rhythm that you get when playing both at the
same time unobtainable any other way.

I was a teenager! I thought, " It would be so cool if I could accompany
myself with another guitar ". After lots of practice, I finally got it down
although I'm still learning as I go.
I'm playing all the instruments on my CD as well as the vocals ( synth vocal
backups ). Some of the tunes are played with two guitars at once and some
are played with the conventional right handed guitar. The songs are listed
as such on the CD.
In the past I've performed with George Benson live at the Jazz Workshop
located in Boston, Mass. I've played live with Grover Washinngton Jr. at the
same place but different occasions. On both these performances, I played the
one right  handed guitar. Hey! I wonder if George remembers me! Incidently,
he also gave me a free guitar lesson on one occasion! Unfortunately, the
Jazz Workshop is no longer in operation. Was  a cozy little night club!
